Re-Imagining Reality: The Limits of Science

The modern world generally considers science as our most effective way to explore the nature of reality.  How much is this view justified?  A great deal less than thought by those who think science is the road to discovering ultimate reality. This talk will show how science’s fundamental assumptions and methods have theological and political roots and that its practical successes encouraged people to take these assumptions for granted as obviously true.  But they are not obviously true.

When your only tool is a hammer everything is evaluated in terms of its ability to act as a nail.
